Interior Accent (ricer) Lights?

Could I ask for a photo of how you have the LED emitter "box" situated under the start button/in the steering wheel area? That is what caused it all to come apart just the test fitting to see how best to place/hid it. Thanks

The replacement came in the mail yesterday so this weekend I think I will try again.

The replacement came in the mail yesterday so this weekend I think I will try again.

First image here, this piece just sits between the steering column and the dash trim. I left it there with some freedom to move with the steering tilt/telescopic function. I did have a difficult time getting the plastic for the light to stay in the trim here. I wedged some double sided tape in to keep it in place.

below, I have these Mabett organizers and the control box sits there. I disrupted the wires here, but it's normally neat and tidy.

Well I installed it this afternoon. It looks pretty good. I just hope it stays in place. It sure doesn’t want to. I don’t mind putting a few daps of glue in places as it sets into place. I know it is an item that is being shoved into a spot it isn’t meant to be and it feels that way. I’m just concerned now that as I am driving it is just going to fall out.

Also the new replacement piece came in with the same weakness as the broken one.

I was really close to just tearing it out this weekend. It will not stay in place. It looks so bad in the daylight. I decided to wait and will attempt to reinstall in the below two positions. With the changes in heat it was really moving all over.

I'm sorry but after having any car that has these stock this looks like a Pepboys mod that a teenager would put on their car/truck.

Honest question..why would anyone want more interior lighting in the Bronco?

It's so obnoxiously bright in that interior. I have the screen at dark mode at all times, turned off all the ambient lighting options and put stickers over those 2 little LEDs because they're too bright.

No wonder there are so many accidents...nobody can see the road with 10k lumens of dash and footwell lighting on at all times

I wanna legit set that doesn't just come apart, just gonna find which shop offers the best price to take the guess work and make sure people are happy with it.

No reason Ford skimped out with blue "Ambient lighting", I came from a S550, I expected MyColor light, even first gen Escapes and the Fucus and shit had MyColor, why did they cheap out with "cold as your wife" blue?
