I think Goo Gone is the greener product, and Goof Off is the product with acetone. Earlier in this thread, Hothead Headliners recommended acetone, maybe it would require less effort. (Assume they've tested and it won't eat into the Bronco hardtop.)For anyone thinking about removing the factory headliner- it’s a complete pain in the ass. Adhesive residue everywhere. Invest in a plastic scraper and a bottle of Goo Gone. Let it soak in before scraping.
I plan to go a slightly different route.
fyi, I used acetone yesterday to carefully clean up a small area of sticker residue on the top of my Bronco rollbar, at least in terms of the paint, it didn't seem to cause any issues.
