Has anyone heard anything about Ford reorganizing the company? I watch small video yesterday on this subject but have not been able to confirm it anywhere else. The idea was they were letting people go by offering early retirements or preparing for layoffs. Obviously, it would affect the Bronco orders and delivery times. I am hoping this is not true.

If you’re talking about what they announced earlier this month… yes… they’re reorganizing internally to better position themselves for electric and software-heavy vehicles. More of a focus on software engineering, machine learning, and big data than in the past. Most of that reorganization is being done by offering early retirement to employees that don’t have the skill set they need.

If your talking about the assembly plant shuffling… that’s been going on since March or so due to part shortages. Many auto makers have been laying off assembly workers or shutting down shifts. Just aren’t enough parts available to keep assembly plants running at full capacity.

I appreciate the info.
