Jacking under hitch?

While not ideal, yes you can use the hitch as a jacking point if necessary.

Tongue weight is the max amount of trailer load to be distributed to the vehicle, not how much physical weight the hitch can support.

OK, as a safety measure, I can see it, And yeah, a DP rear Sub Frame is beefy on an XC Chassis (assuming it's an XC anyway, I'm not very familiar with the other DP Chassis's)...

We’re off subject but as a safety issue it needs to be said that gas class A’s and many Class C motorhomes do not have full-length full-size frame-rails all the way to the hitch and most should never be used for jacking it up or supporting it’s weight.
Also remember leverage comes into play when jacking on a hitch. Closer to the frame is always better.
