I can’t even imagine how numb the front end would feel on the roads around me at 35psi.

I saw a video once that argued that the XJ is a hot hatch…with the 4.0L high output version, they weren’t wrong.

I had a mild lift on mine and 30.5” super swampers. It performed very well off-road.
I have driven trucks and old cars off and on most of my life, also grew up driving fast on dirt roads.
I'm very used to driving sub optional vehicles aggressively.
I have also driven quite a few very good handling cars, and actually liked them less due to their higher limitations.
For a track vehicle, sure... Give me the scalpel.
For daily driving, give me a vehicle with lower limits.
If you really learn it, you can make good haste on challenging and twisty roads even at 35 psi.

The Bronco isn’t that much fun as a canyon carver - heck, the best vehicle Ford made for that is actually the Fiesta ST. That thing is a hoot.

Some of the roads near me have speed limits that are completely inappropriate.

One of them has a 40mph speed limit on a road with no center line, no shoulders due to mixtures of trees and embankments, and it fits the bare minimum definition of a two lane road - a Braptor would likely lose a mirror to oncoming traffic.

Because I want to do something idiotic to prove myself to a moron?

No thanks.

By your logic, you don’t know if you’re going to enjoy being the little spoon when you get arrested for reckless driving until it happens.

You hit that speed in my state, and the DA will be seeking 6 months in the slammer for you.
Hmm, by your response I can tell that you have never driven your Bronco to support your comments. Your comments are based on your emotions, not on personal insights, so empty of any bearing on the subject.
The only way to understand a vehicles limits is to test them, as I have done not just with my Bronco, but with numerous vehicles both on and off race tracks. Knowing the limits of the vehicle you are driving makes you a much safer driver to all the other vehicles around you.
The Bronco's limits were not exceeded during my drive. As I have mentioned, the Bronco was surprisingly safe and comfortably stable at that speed.
You will have read that I did not drive at this speed in your state, I did it in Nevada, where their legal speeds are much higher then your states, and where most of the drivers were averaging over 90 mph on the highway I was traveling. My speed, at 100 mph was not much faster than the average and so, if I did get pulled over, I would not have ended up in jail because of reckless driving, but with a simple speeding ticket. A nominal risk that I was comfortable with.
I would suggest that if you ever get to Nevada in your Bronco, give it a shot, and then we can discuss your views. Until then, enjoy your Bronco at whatever speeds you are comfortable with, as I will with mine.
I would also suggest though that you not to end up being a little spoon 😁.

Out of the SUVs I’ve owned, the Bronco’s handling is better than my mid 70s CJ, but materially worse than Acura, Volvo, Alfa Romeo, and 4Runner.

Is it better than the XJ was? Well, it doesn’t have axle hop under moderate acceleration because it doesn’t have leaf springs in the rear like the XJ did, but the steering feel isn’t as good.

With colder temps, my tire pressure has dipped to 37, and it feels like someone replaced my tires with squishmallows shaped like tires.
I'd say Bronco is 4X4 first unique in that it's hardcore offroader that's civilized I street VS above softroaders except maybe 4 runner plus non offer open air experience. I would not get Bronco if wanted softroaders / SUV maybe Bronco Sport SAS, already passed on Alfa and all Volvos then it's insulting to pay Acura price for Honda then 4Runner will get stolen in Canada within a week and shipped off to UA, ME or Africa next day.
