Will these skids work with the modular front bumper and bash plate?
Mod bumper yes. You can leave the bash plate if you want, but I’d recommend selling it and going with the front skid too.

Since your skids are on your website are you going to do the comparison to OEM for coverage and size?

We’ll try. All of our marketing time is consumed at the moment with product launch; videos, install docs, photo editing, etc.

The quick and dirty:
OEM = 1/8” steel with minimum coverage.
Ours = 3/16” steel or 1/4” aluminum with maximum coverage. Our skids also protect the bronco from catalytic converter theft.

We’ve seen similar factory skids on the Jeep Wrangler, they deform quickly. Once deformed, removal for maintenance or repair becomes a nightmare.

Which skid protects the catalytic converter? I might start with that one an slowly replace them on my BL.

@JcrOffroad I see all the skids on the website except the gas tank skid and I’ll be ordering most, if not all, soon. Two questions:

1) Engine skid weight difference between steel and aluminum?
2) When will the 2 door gas tank skid be loaded on the page?

I have a Jeep friend who lives in Michigan and recommended I look at your Bronco offerings. If I ever get mine I will consider. I grew up in Michigan, still have family there so I was curious if I could save money picking orders up at your business in Portage?

- Weights will be listed in descriptions shortly.
- still working on product release stuff for both gas tank skids, but soon.

So how is changing the engine oil with these skids? Does it require the skid plate be removed?

The 2.7 has an oil filter on top of the motor. 2.3 has a filter in wheel well, then a little channel to direct any oil out.

We have drain holes for the oil plug.

@JcrOffroad does the Flippable Front License Plate Fairlead Bracket work with the front camera relocation kit?
