I'd like to buy the amplifier JL Audio XDM500/3 for my Bronco with B&O system. My plan is to change rear pods by Meta pods and add 6-1/2 in. kicker speakers and replace the factory sub by kicker Comp R 8 in. and drive them by this amplifier. (75 watts for pods speakers and 200 watts for the sub)
In the Crutchfield description this amp is rated for high speaker level input but in the manual this amp is for 200 mV - 4 V RMS.
Some amplifier are rated for input sensitivity range between 800mV and 8V with a real high level input mode. This is useful for speaker level output from small amplifiers like our B&O system.
Do you know if the JL Audio amp (with 200 mV - 4 V RMS) could handle the small B&O amp output from our Bronco?
