I'm not a shop. I'm a VW dealer tech. Stereo and fabrication stuff is my hobby I do out of my garage.

The Mesh Man also makes a kit for $550 but there is still a bunch of work you need to do to finish so The MTI kit is a way better deal at $450

Supremely nice work here. Imagine you have an extreme amount of time in those dash pods. Makes the cost of the MTI version seem almost reasonable.

Outstanding finished look. Is that make sense to build a tweeter mount at 30-45 degrees?

BTW: if you can build a mold from your finished injection (or printing), you maybe can produce some that make your time worth it.
