Jaguar Land Rover announced today that they bought Bowler, the team that turned regular land rover models into rally raid, off-road racing vehicles:

Unfortunately we never got any of the Bowler models (they made street versions as well) in North America, and they were low volume, expensive things. With them being an official division of JLR though, perhaps we'll see some high performance off-road stuff out of Land Rover, maybe based on the new defender?
