I'm so excited as I was lucky enough to get my Bronco. So glad I went with the WildTrak. The coolest part, my son was my salesman, Ryan Leslie @ Friendly Ford in Monroe, Michigan!
I did place my order on the reservation night. I don't have record of my time stamp but because of my kiddo, I was a priority order and the first order to go through his dealer. They ended up having two priority orders; mine was my WildTrak. The other was a Cactus Gray 2 Door Outerbanks which oddly enough, is what I reserved on opening night.
During the process, different Broncos would stop in and my son would send me pics. As soon as I saw a white Badlands 4 Door SAS, I told him to change it up! I'm a big fan of black and white together and the WildTrak was what made sense to me.
Not going to lie, it's a head turner since it's so new and that brings some fun to this as well. Where I live, there are a ton of Ford workers so when I pull up at friends' houses, it's funny to see all the people come out and check it out.
It rides incredible smooth for being up on 35's. Wind noise isn't too bad since it's expected. The roof off is incredible as it was a gorgeous night last night here in Southeast Michigan with top fully open.
I did get the high package as I couldn't justify the extra for the LUX package. I do have the say, coming from my '17 Impala Premier with it's factory 11 speaker Bose system and the Explorer Limited we traded in with a 12 Speaker Sony system, this is no comparison. The 6 speakers work but don't expect any bass. It gets the job done with the roof off but as I noted, I plan to get this upgraded in the next few weeks.
All in all, this Bronco is great and so far, day 2, love it!. Ford really did a nice job. With half my family employed by Ford and the other half GM, it's another great purchase. If any of you had involvement with any development, building or even putting a sticker on this, congrats, you created something special!
Here are some photos...it already rained here so once I clean her back up I'll get some better shots this weekend as I'll be out and about in it more.
