Back in my Jeep days, I would remove the door bolts in Spring and just leave them off until Fall. Never had any issues when the doors were on without the bolts and taking them off was just that much quicker. Anyone try this on their Bronco yet?
The only way to know for sure is to test it for a while and report back.

I'll check back into this thread a month from now and read your write-up. ;)

So....I tried it. Not driving, just in the driveway. I disagree that the shorter hinge/lighter door would be an issue, but the way that the upper hinge works requires the bolt to be in place. the door clicks and hops when you open/close without it.
