How do you feel about that if it comes with black grille and fenders? Not so sure myself...
LB looks awesome with black. Check out the Mustang GTs with black stripes.

The lightning blue is probably the best color of all the different blues available in the palette. And I like the color but I don’t want a blue vehicle. I’ll stick with Cyber Orange. Unless they pair the navy interior with Cyber orange then I don’t know.

yes I have CQuartz Finest and 3M Pro Series clear film. It’s looks amazing. I used “polish” cause I didn’t wanna debate with people about how good ceramic and film is lol

I know it’s a Bronco thread but here’s lightning blue in all sorts of different lighting. I have many more pics if you have requests. Rain, cloud, sun, etc...I like taking photos of it lol.

The F150 is also lightning blue.

The white stripes on the mustang look great. i can visualize a white top with the LB... would look sharp. Maybe add the white interior as well instead of navy pier. ??

Lol, really not sure how navy pier would look with it. I still think it’s gonna clash. That white vinyl would look pretty nice.

I normally don't like red and blue together (lifetime of a sea of Buffalo Bills logos) but the red accents look sweet. I'm sorry you weren't able to get a FE in Canada. If anyone deserves one in Lightning Blue it's you. Thanks for the pictures.

Not to be disagreeable, but ceramic coatings will not provide a more visually appealing surface than a well-detailed and waxed surface. They lack the warmth, depth and character of a quality wax. They have a lot of gloss (still not more than you can get from a high quality carnauba wax or hybrid) and last a long time. That's it.

Ceramic coatings "look good" (not great, and absolutely not excellent) for a very long time. The only trick they have over a proper wax is durability. I didn't include their trick of attaching a vacuum to your wallet.

If they don’t change their mind on forcing the blue interior I think LB is the color. But the red-ish interior with orange or red was ideal for me until I heard there is no options on interior.

lol, see, this here is the debate I didn’t wanna start. And the reason I said “polish” in the first place.

Ceramic coatings only look as good as the surface that’s under it. You polish that to super high gloss, no swirl-mark finish and lock it in with a “good” ceramic coat. Other than washing every month there’s almost zero maintenance. If you do it yourself a bottle of cquartz will do 2 mustangs for $100 and if you take care of it will no doubt last 2-4 years. Ceramics have advanced so much that in my opinion traditional wax and polish simply don’t appeal to me, everyone has their own opinion and I cannot be bothered spending so much time waxing, polishing and having to do this so often. I’ve spent many dollars on wax and polishes over the years and would never go back.

Replace "Zaino" as a key-word from the early 2000's with "ceramic" today, and you got yourself a million-dollar product!
Yup, the products have come a long way. And you identify the key selling point of ceramic coatings, their incredibly strong paint protection that is stronger than a brick! you don't have to care for it. As society becomes incredibly complex people don't want to care for their car as they used to have to.
But i'm old. And I still like to have a day in the garage doing paint correction and detailing a car properly a few times per year. But having grown up detailing cars for a living with many restorations and exotics coming through, there is a soft spot in my heart for a beautiful painted surface. Ceramics are the "I can't believe it's not butter!" of surface coatings they do the job and have a place which includes many happy customers!

You actually do have to take care of them just as you would (obviously less time) as a highly polished car with traditional waxes and polishes. People who don’t take care of them are the ones that will be spending more money in the long run. As long as their maintained with little effort and money they’ll last years.

I’m not trying to convert you as you clearly have a passion for the polishes and the carnauba. Just saying that I’ve seen shit ceramic coats and I’ve seen amazing ones. Just because you’ve seen one product you haven’t seen them all (or maybe you have, I dunno).

For many, cQuartz will make many many people happy IF the surface is prepped properly, if not it’ll look like shit.

anyhoo, this is not a ceramic vs wax thread, all I wanted to do is help out these Lightning Blue fans.

I’m going to regret a 2021 VB if LB comes out in 2022 for all trims.
It won't be. Ford has phased out LB in most other applications, and is being replaced by VB on Ranger (Bronco's factory mate) for 2021 too. This is essentially a "left over" stock of LB devoted to a percentage of the 7,000 FE units.
