pictures like this make me want to wait to see what velocity blue really looks like. The top dark blue is nice and the bottom is less than desirable to me

I'll resurrect the thread as there is interest in the rumored "Peak Blue". Our friend's attribution calling it "New Blue" can't be seen anymore as his posts are hidden. So it might be appropriate to refer to it as "Legend-ary Blue".

"New Blue" or "Legend-ary Blue" looks close to the "Peak Blue" that shown on the touch-up paint thread that shows "Yellowstone". With Yellowstone being a '71 Heritage color, the Swiss Aqua was also available that year and may be a match for Peak Blue.

Looks pretty close to this - which would be alright by me . . .
