Which beach permit would be best to look into for this? Still need to squire one for summer of 2024. Ideally looking to get something that works for the Nassau / Suffolk border.

No beach pass required for the Montauk event. Only 2 types of passes are available on LI. NYS fishing 4x4 permit and Sufffolk County outer beach.

Thought I'd punch this up again. We're a month away and hoping for a pretty good crowd this year.

Coming this weekend! All are welcome. We are hoping for a good showing.

We should be there this year. We missed last year as we had a car show the same day. Almost happened again but the show got moved to next week now.

FYI, the 1st time we did this they were checking for passes at Montauk. It's a state park so if you have an Empire Pass you can use that or pay to get into the park. You DO NOT need a 4x4 pass, again because this is just one of NY's state parks (like Jones Beach, Captree, Robert Moses or Bethpage)

Not sure if we're early in the season yet or not but you might have to pay to gain access to Montauk's park. Again if you have an Empire pass it covers that but if not you have to pay to park at the state park.
