Long Trip without Top - Would you or Would you Not

Has anyone taken or would anyone take a long trip without the hard top on their Bronco. Let’s say 1200 miles? With maybe just a mesh shade cover?

How did it go?

Would you or would you not do this? Why?

I tried it awhile back in a Wrangler. It was enjoyable on some quieter stretches of back highways. Much harsher for reasons already stated on Interstate. I did have my tops and did put them on when it got to be no fun or tired. Probably on and off a couple times on a 6 hour drive. Enjoyed the trip that way.
