Has anyone had any issues when re-installing the doors that the lower bolt will hand tighten, but then with the wrench it just spins without tightening any further? The bottom piece (kinda like a nut) spins as well, but I cant get another wrench in there to hold it to tighten.

The door feels secure and isnt making that noise when you know its not tight, but there is a visible 1/4 inch gap from the bolt being flush. Dealer spot checked and said its user error and I cross threaded it, so they likely need to replace the hinge not under warranty.

Only because the door was not seated properly. I would remove both bolts and remove door and put back on and make sure to use alignment tool in tool kit

My rear driver door does it, has since the first time. No, no cross-threaded situation. It just popped loose with the very first time I reinstalled them.
It is a PITA but I keep a small set of channel locks in the Bronco tool kit to grab it with and keep it from turning.
I suppose there is a more permanent fix I could do (replacing the hinge or taking it off and spot-welding the nut) but this works ok.
If I were removing and installing the doors frequently it would be a larger desire to secure it for sure.

I’m having the same issue with both doors on my 2 door. I just noticed it when putting foot pegs on for the first time with the doors off. Is the lower nut supposed to be welded to the hinge itself? Not sure why it’s moving.
