NICE! following... This would be a nice thing to print out a few and hand out at Bronco events. Always nice to have a spare! Thanks!

Is there a way to tell a printer to print more than one at a time to save waste, or does that require modification of your original file?

For example, the Bambu x1 has a large surface and printing one every inch, or every other inch, during a single print session would save all the start up calibration etc.
Yes, on most slicers (including Bambu Lab), when you prepare the file for printing you can select the model and "clone" or fill plate with copies or other command to do that. I printed 4 at a time.

Cool, thank you.

I am just starting to dabble with 3D printing, and obviously know nothing.

If you're using Bambu Studio, ctrl-click the model in the Prepare tab and either select clone and enter number of desired copies or select "Fill Bed with Copies." Then slice and print.

I’ll try it this weekend. I already have extra metal ones, but why not print some also!!!

Looking good! But I'll make a suggestion, upload an stl and step file as well. The fusion file doesn't open with slicers. Also, don't print this standing up, it will be more prone to break, and more than likely when you are setting the door (ouch). Laying it on it's side will drastically improve it's strength with how it is used. Just my $0.02 :)

Good suggestion for those new to 3D printing. You wouldn’t want the threaded portion breaking off in the hole.

The 3mf file should open in slicers. It’s basically an enhanced STL format like a step. Did you try it? If not I’ll convert. All of them should be on makers world.

I wouldn’t bother printing this on its side. Threads might not be as clean if you do and this has virtually no bending strength needs to worry about. But ymmv.

I used PLA first then out of abundance of caution due to heat of car in Houston decided to use PETG. Either should work on this part. Strength isn’t much of an issue. There is some shear considerations but mostly compression and almost no bending stress if threaded to shoulder. It’s just a guide.
