The good thing about cable-actuated shifters is that you are usually only like $50 worth of bronze bushings away from much more direct shift feel (assuming the OEM bushings are rubber/plastic). I thought my GTI was too light and detached, but bronze shift bushings made it nearly perfect (not rifle bolt precise like a Honda S2000, but very good). Install was like 15 minutes with no special tools.

I'm curious what the aftermarket does to the Bronco 7MT.

Hopefully Steeda makes a clutch pedal spring and perch like i had in my 2018 mustang gt. The spring had a heavier feel and made for a consistent engagement point.
