Good luck OP.. all great feedback. Water & a rag seem to work well for me.
I’m not a fan of perfumes, dyes & especially residue! So I tend avoid most products marketed to the automotive crowd.
Similar to what Brian_B says, I use J&J Windex on my glass and use the same rag/microfiber cloth to wipe down the interior.
And I have to laugh, (summer) heat & hi temps can make the MGV unpleasant, but I’m grateful FORD offers it on our Bronco’s - essential for outdoor activities
chemical guys new car scent interior. use that on all interior including the screen. smells kinda like the new vinyl so I like it. I also use water, or any other light cleaner. Beer gets wiped off with water. I don't overthink it.
I just use a mild liquid dish washing detergent, warm water and a microfiber cloth, followed by some good ventilation and a little sunshine. I wouldn't even think of using Windex, which is notorious for clouding/damaging plastics.
I use P&S Xpress Interior Cleaner to clean all the interior surfaces. It does a nice job cleaning everything up. This stuff is great with a rag or with a brush to get in all the nooks and crannies.
Then I use Leather Nourish as a protectant on all of my surfaces. This self-levels so it doesn't take much work to apply. Smells nice too!
If I'm just doing a quick clean-up, I like to use a rinseless wash to wipe things down.
Old school stuff thats still around, superior UV protection, OEM look, no smell and many other useful purposes for car and home. Solid no fluff product.
