So I took my top off for the 4th and it was a blast. Plan to do it more often, but the time has come to put the top back on. Does anyone know the torque specs of the 10 TP50 bronco bolts that screw in to secure the top?

Thanks

That is way lower than I expected. So only 9 ft Lbs?

I use the Rockworkx thumb screws and just screw them in until their hand snug. Even doing that sometimes I need to use a small screwdriver to get them started loosening up some. Never seen an issue.

cordless impact drill does the trick... i don't think they need to be super snug... but you don't want the top to come off either.

Weird soft top side trim piece? Don't think I removed it for the hardtop install and I wonder why it needs to be removed?
I’m wondering the same thing. The soft price doesn’t seem to be built in a way it even comes close to touching the hard top. I’d like to just leave the soft top piece in all the time.

All the videos I watched never mention the softtop piece. Must be fine to leave in.
