Mod Top Impressions?

Thanks for the impression. It sounds like if it was an option you would have ordered it. Do you think you would buy one now to replace your MIC top, assuming pricing isn't outrageous?

If the price was comparable to a MIC top yes I would buy one.

I originally ordered the Mod top for my Badlands. I'm still holding out to buy it if/when available. I will be disappointed if they really did decide to delete the removable back windows.

Back in '21 the mod top was $1795, had it on my BD order. Once they dropped it from the lineup I 99'd my order until now and switched over to an HE.

While the high shot on the 2dr shows the gunner's hatch the interior shots, from the launch at least, don't show any latches/knobs to remove it. Would be nice to catch one of the mules out and about and get some real world close-ups. Honestly, I'm fine without it and the removable side windows, just less to leak and make noise.

Here's what I was talking about from the launch model, if you look closely the gunner's hatch is not functional, looks like they pinstriped where it was supposed to go.

Haven't heard otherwise on the hatch, just the windows is the rumor. You would think we'd be getting a little news on the mod top, maybe after the new year if they don't push the HE builds past Q2.

I'm all for vented or sliding rear windows Removable? Meh, just something else to store, leak or break.

Yeah, I'm thinking about a hinge on the front edge, with a clip lock at the rear, like the manual vented rear windows on older minivans
