Mod Tops availability for purchase? Price?

I know that these are delayed.

I have a couple questions and I am sure they may have been posted but could not find.

Will the Mod tops be available for purchase if you choose to get the Bronco with the standard soft top (4 door)?

If so any idea on estimated cost?

If available would they fit on the BB or BD trims?

Short answer yes. Long answer.. They will probably only be available on outer banks and above. I’m sure they will fill the fe and wildtrak orders first that wanted the tops. Due to it being a feature of those vehicles before they realized they wouldn’t be able to fill orders.

Stand alone purchase availability?

Yes. But I wouldn’t expect to see them any time soon. As you know manufacture is delayed and they will prioritize supplying them with Broncos before selling them “over the counter.”

Cost?

Not sure, but Jeep Wrangler tops go for $3k+, so emotionally prepare yourself for that. (You might even have to paint it on top of the purchase price.)

What will they fit?

Should fit any comparable door-count Bronco.

I have read dealers have said they will let you order them.

I'm hoping there is some clarity on this come order time:

Is "dual top" still an option?
Will it be priced as "dual top" or will you essentially be buying a soft-top and hard-top separately?
If only a soft-top is initially ordered will there still be provisions for defrost and wipers?
Will body colour still be an option? Will it be unpainted?
Will it be available on models other than WT and FE?

The availability of the modular top factors into my colour choice. If there's no information I'll just order MIC and order a Bronco that looks good with the grey top and save a pile of cash. I'd definitely still prefer a painted modular top however.

You should absolutely be able to order them just like you could order a fender after a wreck. But you are correct, they may not be painted, and it may take awhile to get it in...

Different subject.. but I’m waiting on a replacement running board for my super duty under warranty. 3 months so far. Apparently they are on constraint for the new ones as well. I think parts counter availability is very far out from when they hit the production line. (mod tops) Unfortunate for some people.

BS. They were initially shown at 1895 as I recall, and I firmly believe that somehow you'll be able to get that price with a tentative order subject to late availablity.....if you wait until later, sure you'll like pay near twice that.

It’s $1,895 because they give you credit for the price of the soft top. That’s also why the MIC tops are so cheap.
They won’t be that cheap if ordered later through the parts counter.

I don't know why some people have a hard time understanding this. They think the soft top is free some how because it comes stock that way.

These were the estimates based on the price survey that was posted a while back.
I’m pretty sure these prices are very close compared with the current B&P.

Ouch. 3700 for MIC and soft....mod would be even more! Wait, on WT, it shows mod and soft for 1200? And on OB, mod and soft for 3700. So freakin' knows, but it's more than I recalled....

Here’s my guess on the prices of the tops.

Soft $1,200
MIC $2,500
Modular $3,095

BUT, this is a guess and I’m not putting too much energy in to guessing because we will know soon enough. Hopefully.
