That's a dang good question Jim, and I'm in for the answer. My simple mind could only think it used the inside brake to do the deed. But, I'm sure that can't be all.I'd like to know more about exactly what it does. Assume first it unlocks rear locker. Locks up inside rear wheel. Does it power both fronts at any time (front locked/unlocked). Would work OK on main trails, but will it work at all on areas where you really need full traction on at least both ends?
Start at 26 seconds.. he was filming the 4 door..The video stopped at 53 seconds before the turn
depends how much you like breaking stuff.I know trail turn assist isn't intended for this, but could you use it to get into and out of a tight parking spot?
Thanks, I completely missed that. That's what happens when I focus on 3 things at once.Start at 26 seconds.. he was filming the 4 door..
That's where that warranty thread comes into play.depends how much you like breaking stuff.
Technical data may differ than my experience, But when the steering wheel is turn off center either left or right that corresponding rear wheel locks and the other three turn proportionately to get the bronco turned, if you watch the four-door area 51 you’ll notice it’s not a smooth turn this is partly because we were in a rut but also because you could feel the front wheels pull and grab on each side as if the computer was sensing which wheel needed the power. Watching one turn is much more educational than filming from inside the cab.I'd like to know more about exactly what it does. Assume first it unlocks rear locker. Locks up inside rear wheel. I could see someone using this to help parallel park lolI know trail turn assist isn't intended for this, but could you use it to get into and out of a tight parking spot?
If you are at the County Fair and in a gravel lot, you could use it then, but I would never use it on concrete, unless it is covered in snow.I know trail turn assist isn't intended for this, but could you use it to get into and out of a tight parking spot?
Highly recommended. (in case it is not clear, do not do this.)I know trail turn assist isn't intended for this, but could you use it to get into and out of a tight parking spot?
Guarantee you the lawyers have written this somewhereThat's where that warranty thread comes into play.
