Need new skid plates when going with Aftermarket Front Bumper ?

does anyone know, whether you're ordering an aftermarket front bumper or the modular front bumper after taking delivery, if you need to order a new skid plate as well? I have the plastic bumper and a friend of mine that works for ford parts can order me a modular bumper for the employee price, but do i need to order the skid plate and different mounting brackets? same goes for ordering an aftermarket bumper, what else do i need to order besides just the bumper itself?

Lots of info here..... you have a choice of ordering two new supports or modifying (cutting), the existing ones.....is my understanding.
