My Relentless Fabrication bumper & skid plates are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I’m stoked!

So far Relentless has been very professional & easy to work with. I’m happy to support their business

My Bronco doesn’t have sensors so I asked RF if they would skip drilling out the sensor holes. RF said “sure, no problem”. Very cool.

I asked RF if they had any plans to offer additional armor or recommendations for Tcase skids that would fit / match up with their bumper skids. As a result RF decided to offer a T-case skid and tweak their existing skid design. Very cool. When they asked me if I wanted one I said hell yes!

I’ve got a Badland APEX winch ready to go. Still need to source a few BD lights and work out some custom mounting solutions. Slapping the bumper & skids on should be very straightforward, but I’ll definitely be hitting up one of my friends to help with the electrical.

I’ll post pics ASAP.

Oh for sure! I’ll post up an update after installation. I have some family events this weekend so it may be two weeks before I have some free time.

Phase two will be winch installation. I’ve got a Badland Apex winch in my shop but will need help from a friend. My wiring / electrical skills suck, but I have a buddy that is solid.

Phase three will be installing some pod lights. Space and location is TBD, but I’m planning to add a set of SAE S2 ambers and a set of Squadron Pro ambers. Wiring again is TBD but I may wire the S2’s to the factory fob light switch and the squads to one of the aux switches. All TBD.

Ok, with some luck I’m finally going to install the bumper, skids and LOD frame brackets tomorrow.

Swept out the garage and took over my wife’s spot so I’ll have some room to play.

I finally had a moment to get under the truck. Looks like I may be one bolt short for the T-case skid, directions state to reuse factory hardware. No big deal, maybe I’ll have some leftover bolts from the factory skids I can reuse, or I’ll go digging in my bolt bucket

Here are a few “before” pics.

Sat progress. LOD frame brackets, bumper, main skid & drilled holes for the hoop assembly. Tomorrow I’ll install the hoops and winch tray. Not sure where I’m going to mount the front license plate yet, maybe above the fairlead or below the intercooler air duct.

First bumper side wing took me maybe an hour, then I remembered I actually had the correct swivel socket. Second side took me ten minutes. Ha ha ha….dumbass.

That is great, I contacted a couple manufacturers to ask if I could get bumpers without all the sensors holes in them, apparently, it's dam near impossible to do.

Ya, I was stoked about the option to skip the sensor holes. I’m not a fan of the plugs.

Per my expectation the front suspension sagged about 0.5”. I plan to drive it like this for a bit until I can find time to recruit a friend to help me wire up the winch and some pod lights. Need to start a quarter jar for proper coilovers, he he he.
