New battery fixed every minor problem

Auto stop-start stopped working
Door lock-unlock with button on outside handle didn't work
Installed new fob battery...no change
Per the advice on here I bought a new battery - everything is back to normal.
I'm pretty savy but I can't comprehend how the battery has enough juice to turn the engine over but not enough to work the outside door lock buttons.
Anyway everything is good now.

Make sure you reset the BMS if you haven’t already.

It's all about the stupid computers. They need a stable voltage. If the battery isn't strong enough to crank the engine ~and~ run all the auxiliaries ~and~ keep the voltage stable while doing all that, the computers absolutely freak the F out.

A "bad" battery still has plenty of juice to crank the starter. I just put my old "bad" one in a Bronco II and it works like a rock star there. I wouldn't be surprised to get 4 more years out of it there, where there are no computers to deal with.

I'm honestly surprised Autos haven't shifted to either a higher DC voltage (24 or even 48V), or switched to a split-battery system: one just for the computers, and one for running all the mechanical stuff, and they are isolated by a DC-DC converter.
