Well some of you knew it was coming and we're finally allowed to talk about it. The new Morimoto XB LED Headlights are available for pre-order!

For those who are saying "Wait, I thought they were already taking pre-orders" well there are TWO kinds of Headlights from Morimoto.

First, are the XRGB Headlights, which should be shipping any day now from us. These are the headlights we installed on our Bronco last year. They feature an RGB DRL that you can change from a phone app. So you can run whatever color DRL you want. These are priced at $1,250 for the pair.

However there is ANOTHER headlight from Morimoto, the XB Headlights. These feature either a white or amber DRL and cost $1,875-$1,925. So they are significantly more expensive.

GAME CHANGER: The game has just changed, again. If you've got a 2021+ Ford Bronco and you have been waiting for the right time to ditch the poor-performing stock headlights, alas, the time has come! The brand new Morimoto XB LED headlights for the 2021+ Ford Bronco should be the first thing on your wish list. It's hard to imagine anything better than this when it comes to looks, performance, and functionality. They are the full package.

FUTURE SPEC: Alright so where do we begin? Lets throw subjectivity out the door and talk about how great the new Bronco LED headlights from Morimoto look. With a single large rectangular projector front and center that’s surrounded by a Ford GT-esque shroud that elegantly flows into the lines of the grille, they look right at home. Around that, we've ditched the Wrangler-wannabe LED halo in place of a sleek four-point DRL that really stands out against the boring OEM headlights.

DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS: The LED DRL really is incredibly bright, easily matching and exceeding the intensity of the original high-end Bronco headlights. Here, you have your choice of the white DRL, which looks clean and modern, or the full Amber DRL setup, which is inspired by the new Bronco Raptor. Like other XB LED headlights from Morimoto, the turn signals can be setup to run in a full "Reverse Sequential" mode, in an instant-on/off mode for folks who want something a little more conservative.

UNMATCHED VISIBILITY: The XB headlights make use of a unique wide-lens Bi-LED projector that produce a meaningful amount of added intensity and road coverage compared to the stock Bronco LED headlights. The distribution of light is also more optimal too --with much more width in the beam pattern and increased high beam coverage too.

DOT APPROVED: All that goodness, and the Morimoto XB LED headlights for the new Ford Bronco are still fully compliant. Their projector optics meet & exceed all SAE, DOT, and FMVSS108 standards. The US market lights will be equipped with amber side markers as well.

PLUG AND PLAY: The Installation is relatively easy too. These headlights are designed to work on your Bronco without any modifications. They will plug into the factory connectors and fit flush with all pre-existing mounting points. No error codes, no flickering, hyper-flashing, or radio interference. They can easily be removed and will not void your factory warranty. Note that this is NOT easy to do on the new Ford Bronco, which uses a complicated linbus digital signal to activate certain modes.

These are expected to ship sometime in February and we're taking pre-orders right now: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/vehicle-specific/ford/ford-bronco/headlights/

For those who have an order in with us on the XRGB and want to switch out to the XB version, please contact us with your order # and we'll provide instructions on how to change your order.

Are the XB lights brighter than the XRGB, or is the difference mainly in looks/style? Also, are you offering the trade/rebate for the stock lights on the XB like on the XRGB?

The lux numbers shown in the images for the XBs must be wrong. They are showing less than stock and way less than for the XRGB lights.

Yes we offer Paid to Trade on all the Morimoto headlights purchased from our store

https://www.4x4truckleds.com/morimoto-paid-to-trade/

As far as which is brighter, we don't know yet. Once we get a set we'll let you know. Unlike the XRGB where we got a set MONTHS before they went live, we don't have our hands on the XB yet. But we have a pallet of them on order already.

There are no discounts codes on Morimoto products. And there are no promotions happening right now on Morimoto products.

You can go to our site and use the QUOTE button next to the item for a quote though

I can't decide if these are exciting or not. Like Denny Swift said, the lux ratings on their comparison pictures seem to be wrong. And I can't imagine they're much brighter than the XRGB's anyway. Based off the descriptions, it seems like the XB's are just a different DRL style for $600 more than the XRGB option.

Comparison pictures between the two:

We're still waiting for information as well. We're not sure which stock headlights they used in both photos to have such a difference in #'s on stock

They also measured at different distances, the XRGB was measured at 25ft from the wall compared to the XB being measured at 10m from the wall. The images below are also showing different numbers than what was posted above.

The videos they added to their product listings on their site mention it.
Great catch. Even in the video regarding the high beams, they say "the output's about the same as stock, but look at that beam pattern". Which leads me to think these aren't as much of an upgrade as one would hope, especially at the price point.

Yea, a bit disappointing especially as I was thinking these were going to be their flagship model.

Reviews do show the XRGB as actually significantly brighter than the XB (and OEM of course). Even Morioto’s video shows that they are slightly less output on high than the OEM, but due to better alignment/beam control, the light is more efficiently used. Def go with XRGB for the brightest (and also easier control of DRL).
