New KC HiLites Flex Era 4 installed

I got around to mounting my KC HiLites Flex Era 4 combo beams this weekend. Hooked up to Aux 3(30a) mains and Aux 6 (10a) amber backlight. The pair draws around 13.6 amps according to the spec sheet so if I decide to get something with more amperage requirements I'll switch it to the 15a circuit. Once you eliminate the relay and fuse harness it gets really simple. The upfitter switches work great. I also used my daughter's Cricut to make some custom decals for the light covers. Love the old school KC smiley - did that one in reflective black.

Love my KC Hilites! Super easy to install these through OEM upfitters I also swapped aux 3 to a 15 amp I have pro 6 to AUX 1, flex 4s to Aux 2 and Aux 3 is my fog lights low and aux 6 is my back lights for fog lights and flex 4s! Nice write up!!

I like the badassmount. How do you like it and what made you choose it?

I liked the quick release swivel aspect. Last thing I'd want to do is keep my lights loose enough to swivel so they come loose while driving...they can be super tight and locked in and I can still quickly and easily pivot them left or right.

Is that the Flex Era pocket kit? How do you like that and how does the wiring between the lows and everything on work? Been eyeballing that kit for quite a while...

Yes it is! I love it. The harness on this is ready to tie straight into up-fitters and fit and finish quality is great! Very happy! I have wheeled with them quite a bit and no issues with clearance and are still hanging on strong! Was worried after a while I’d be able to see them rattle but they have been superb! Definitely bright enough as it feels like I have light that spreads so much further now where turning I couldn’t see if someone was crossing or not. Now I see everything.

That badassmount looks pretty sweet. My drivers side mount is also holding the race radio antenna so it required a longer bolt.

Flex Era 4 here as well. On switch #2
KC Fog Lights Offroad setting is on Switch #1 - had the highest draw IIRC
PRO6 was I think the lowest draw of the bunch. I wanna say Switch #3
Flex Era 4 - Amber backlight on switch #4

Neither, I used the mount and bracket from Badass mounts.

I used the stock KC bracket. I was thinking of getting a Badass mount for the Chase light so I could re aim it when camping or whatever
