Ordered my Bronco Badlands on 26 March. I was told 6-8 weeks for delivery. It went into production on 20 May.

I was then given the delivery window of 10–16 June even though the vehicle window sticker has a Blend Date of 26 May. That window put me at over 11 weeks since order.

On 16 June, after hounding the dealership, I was told the date got pushed to 31 July! Another 6 weeks! Vehicle has been built for 3.5 weeks already. Why am I waiting another 6 weeks (in theory – definitely don't trust this date either).

I have a case with Ford but no one can give me answers about what is happening.

I am debating just cancelling my order at this point. Any guidance on this and if I should be seriously concerned about the integrity of the vehicle??

Had a similar experience with my Stroppe, always figured the hold up was in the aftermarket shop that was completing the Stroppe edition for Ford. They used an outside vendor. Now, I always "figured" that was the issue. I did finally get my Stroppe but waited an extra almost 2 month past final build date from the factory. On a funny side note, I ordered wheel locks, waited another 5 months for the dealership to get those from Ford for installation. Dealership kept ordering those wheel locks, was at the dealer geting my 10k service done, the Sales manager came up to me with two more sets of wheel locks they had kept ordering for my truck that "finally" came in.

You will get your truck. It will be done your way. That is a good thing.

IIRC someone had posted a thread at one point about how their vehicle got pulled for a random quality inspection - meaning they went back over the whole thing to make sure everything was correct. He wasn't able to find that out until after the vehicle was at the dealership. It's possible you've been chosen for the same thing.

Last year, my Badlands order was stuck in a quality assurance hold for about a month after it was built. Never got any further details.

I know it was chosen for a 'fine tooth comb' inspection. But that's what I was told over 3 weeks ago when I was given the 10-16 June window.
So I'm confused as to why it's ANOTHER 6 weeks.

Blah blah blah... there are a lot of original order holders on this sight, we waited for years... I put in the first year, got mine at the beginning of 2023..... ZERO sympathy here.

I feel for you.

Will you return it my way. Had my 2021 less than a month when I was rearended by a driver who had no license, no insurance and was not a legal in the US which totaled my 2021.

It is what it is. You’ll probably never know the real reason. Lots of urban myths and few real answers. It will be fine in any case. If you look at my signature, it happened in ‘23 as well as every other year.

Shipper delays also play a big part of it.....sit tight, I know you are excited, but it will get here.

I ordered my 2022 in February of 2022....finally arrived July 2022....was listed as "built" in April 2022....sat waiting for transport scheduling until it finally shipped in late June 2022....

Thanks for the input. If i'd been told 'it could take up to 6 months' or whatever, that would've been fine. It's the promise of '6-8 weeks', then 'by X date', then turning into 6 months with no explanation.... and no communication to let me know that. I had to hound them to give me any of this information! Just seems like bad business and made me concerned that there was something seriously wrong with the vehicle.

It happens.
It's practically impossible to get an explanation from the dealer or Ford cust service.
Mine was built 3/20/23, friend had hers built the same week and the same dealer. Hers got shipped right away and arrived (via rail) on 5/7/23. Mine sat somewhere (a remote parking lot) at Ford for 2 months, then finally got on a train, then sat in the rail car for another 18 days waiting to be unloaded. Finally got it at the end of June, so just over 3 months after the build date. Yeah, I was going nuts! But it's in the past now, and it was worth the wait.
