After driving Corvettes on the rough roads around Atlanta for the last 17 years (C5, C6 and C7), I decided to try the Ford Bronco. I found an Area 51 2023 Badlands Advanced 4x4 with Sasquatch with a little over 1100 miles on it and made the jump. So far, I have enjoyed not dodging potholes and not having to buy premium gas. Growing up a Chevy girl, I still find it difficult to say or type FORD, but Iā€™m getting there!

Do you like climbing in better than having to climb out?

A little better, but Iā€™m short. Looking to add some side steps and will probably post a thread asking opinions on that. Iā€™ve found some I like the look of.

If you are shorter, the very best steps for entry are some sort of Powersteps. They drop down making entry and exit very easy.

I have a spare set of AMP power steps that I can sell to you cheap. They will work on both 2 and 4 door. AMP instructions are to cut the boards to fit two doors.

Feeling ya. Toyotas for 34 years....until now. Fantastically, it's been great! Ford itself sucks, but the Bronco is so much fun.

Welcome! If you have the triangular Trail Armor rock rails (standard on BL Sas I believe), IAG's V2 bolt on step worked well for my 5' tall passenger on a 10 day trip. Even the one time I got in, it worked well for me (I'm tall and don't need anything to get in easily). I had been a little worried it might get in my way, which is why I left it off my side.

Sold my mustang for the same reason. Hated swerving around potholes and was wondering when one finally going to take me out. Now I just fly right over them.

Atlanta roads were the whole reason I parted out and sold my modded 335i 2 years after I moved here :ROFLMAO: Welcome to the Bronco club! If you see a Heritage imposter, it's probably me šŸ˜¬

Yā€™all have 93 octane over there dont you? I only use premium, sadly we only get 91 in Cali. Unless one can find 100 on occasion, but that might be overkill for the Bronco šŸ¤£

Good luck with the new Bronco. I hope you donā€™t have any issues like I have had - took delivery 8/1/23 and has been in the dealership for over 10 weeks! Ford service is awful. Not the dealers fault they have been great but if there is a software problem you are toast. Love the truck just wish I had it.
