New Type of dash Cam?

For those of you looking for a dash cam, this is the best set up I've seen so far, and I have searched A LOT!

I can see how it could also come in be handy in offroading at night!

I'm looking for exactly that, but in 4K ...... the rear camera can be mounted do that it looks thru the openings of the spare tire

Even if it's behind the spare tire, it will get quickly get dirty AF. Like with any SUV, the back of the vehicle picks up a lot of dirt - look how often you need to wipe off your backup camera. Although the spare tire will over some protection, it won't keep it clean.

I have some newly installed lights in the same area behind my spare tire, and they're already starting to get dirty. For lights it's fine; for a camera it's more of an issue if you can't see the image or it's very distorted.

Also, being behind the tire may mess with the lighting exposure too.

I tried one of the displays (Kingslim DL12) that covers the rear view mirror. It blocked way too much of my view. The factory mirror is bad enough; right in the way b/c the windshield is so short.

i tried the same Kingslim .... its collecting dust somewhere in the garage

LOL .... yes Arizona is a dust bowl .... you can hide the dust on lighter colors but once a few small drops fall from the sky, cars look like crap

I dunno Buz, that thing looks like some Chinese knock off crap. A dashcam that effective should cost much more.

Other issue is that it’s far too bright. I do like the concept of it, but would want to see from a more legit company first.

He's right, unless it rains, other than getting dusty it all blows off. My rear camera looks worse after a quick rinse than any other time.
