So I thought I saw someone a few hundred pages ago talking about going to Stag Hill Road off Route 17? Anyone know if that is still open for offroading and where you can get in? I was up there a few weeks ago and the place I thought I could get in was gated up...

How do you travel down 78 if it’s not going up/down north/south or down a mountain?

That's the only rock your Bronco will ever see. :ROFLMAO:
Sell it. It's the wrong red and you'll never be happy without the hardtop.

PS Welcome to the club.

I've worked on my XJ.... replaced track bar and then had to adjust tie rods to get the steering wheel centered again and get the toe correct.
Well I took Jeep to dealership. Tried to adjust alignment as is so simple in the many videos online 🤬 but snapped the nut from the threads (if that makes sense to you.)
So called 4x4 shop and he said I'd be OK to drive if I just retighten.but they were 3 weeks out so it's at the dealer to be looked at Monday. Once they call me I'll decide what I want to do myself and what I'll have them do.

I just don't understand how a pavement Jeep would just go out of alignment.

Is it a JK???????

Thought they just had a single nut in the drag link.

..........oh, wait a minute, that is the newer JK and JL. You must have an early JK. So yes, you should be OK. You broke one and the other is tight and as far as I know they cannot move unless disconnected from the knuckle.

If both bolts are broke then by turning the sleeve it will change toe. With one bolt tight, the only way for the tie rod can turn is if it is not in the knuckle.

Yeah it only has the single "nut" if you will for adjusting it. Was able to tighten back up and stupid Jeep never drove so straight 🤷‍♂️ like WTF? Guess I'll see what dealership says Monday 😞
