So, went for a drive in Belle Plane yesterday. There were a lot of water holes, of course frozen over. Some were solid. At the end of the last trail there is a large puddle, say 30 foot wide and 60 ft long. It was at a main intersection and i did not feel like back tracking so i said screw it. Mind you i had gone super slow through everything just to be safe. Well, of course it was deeper than i thought and i started to slow down so i gave it a little to get through. Nor worries, or so i thought. Got on the tarmac and was look at her to see if everything was ok. Found some ice jamed in my bumper, thought it was funny so i took a picture.

Driving home, cruise wouldnt work, i figured from the ice on the sensor. Started working fine a little bit later.
Was looking at the pic last night, and saw the damage!!
Went out this morning and yup broken part of the plastic covering the recover point and the box that holds the ACC sensor.

All seams to still work, wonder if i should be worried about water infiltration?
Going to have to figure out armor for that spot .
Ah well, i got home no worse for the wear so its still a good day!!!

wife took her Explorer timberline to the dealer to have the rear seat heater controls and seat heaters installed. Ford deleted them to build it and then sent parts later.


While she was there, I told her to bug the sales manager about my Bronco order. She texted me......."You are a PC of 2". Looks like I might actually get some movement this year. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Most of the orders at Chapman are also Priority 2. Chapman got 24 allocations for February and Granger got 30. It appears Ford is actually making an effort to get these old orders built.

You ain't missing much. Today on way home, I caught my THIRD rock on my second windshield. Resulting in a tiny chip about a 1/4" long.
I swear these windshields are defective. Every rock I hear, results in a chip or crack
Thank God for Rain X windshield repair.
