I ended up canceling my appt in Paramus today. Didn't feel like dealing with the traffic. Anyone having thoughts about switching to the soft top from MIC after seeing them?

Not a fan of soft tops, and at a $43k price tag I'm looking at, I'm going to order what I want. Not what MAY get it to me sooner.

If getting the soft top means getting my bronco earlier I will do that shit in a heart beat. I was planning on eventually getting a soft top anyway. Now my situation is opposite and I will get a hard top once they are available probably through aftermarket.

I want some kind of a soft top, but also want the rear wiper and defrost hookups. So I am gonna stick with the MIC top and see where things land. Then get an aftermarket soft top. I am sure there will be some aftermarket way to get the wiring for the hard top, but would rather not have to f around with it. But getting my Bronco soon would probably negate that, and I am pretty handy...

Should get the guys at wide open roads to create some new flannels based on our color selection...antimatter blue flannel would be sweet.

I'm with you. Living in the NE, like all of us here... hard to justify a soft top as the primary top. I mean, Memorial Day weekend is in 2 weeks, and still have the heat on in the house.

We get maybe, MAYBE, 3 months of warm weather... a defroster is a requirement up in these parts.

Now southern & southwestern US... I'd probably be more willing to give it up to get it sooner. But probably not.

I don't even care about the hookups. The view out of the back window looks to be crap anyway. Even if I got a hard top I was planning on a rear camera that would give me a live view of what is going on behind me. I can see far more that way
