Looks really good. Did you take them to a bodyshop, or are you good with paint? If a bodyshop, how much did it cost? (if you don't mind sharing). I've had several 3/4 ton pickups over the years with steel wheels that I wished the rims matched the body, but the potential cost scared me away.

Powder coat? Looks great.
Nope, lots of prep and sprayed with a gun. My rings do their job and get bashed up a decent amount on the trail, this way I can touch them up when needed. My fear with powder was not being able to do that.

I did it in my garage myself. I wouldnt consider myself a pro by any means with paint, but the satin was very forgiving. Ive heard its all in the prep, so I fastidiously cleaned, scuffed with red scotchbrite, recleaned, then 4 coats of satin paint, and 3 coats of satin clear. Time will tell how it holds up, but besides 10ish hours of work it was very cheap.

Yea, that's the big hesitation doing something like that with the Bronco - keeping that paint looking good after getting bashed & scraped by rocks, tree-roots, logs, stumps etc. on narrow trails. My 3/4 tons never went any further offroad than a gravel pit or woodlot.
Looks like from the photos you didn't dismount the tires.

I did not dismount tires, the bash rings actually make masking off very easy. I just removed the bash rings and masked the wheel where the rings mount.

I am not usually a fan of repainted wheels, but those look good to me. I find it especially interesting that you did not have to take the tires off first.

Nice job.
