I agree black looks better than what they provided. Also, didn’t notice the lugs, I can’t believe Ford didn’t do black lugs. Is there anything special about lugs that I need to know before looking on Amazon or some place. I’m thinking of getting lock lugs, not sure it’s needed…

also, I have a BL SAS 51 and bought a 51/matteblack Ford emblem to replace factory. I was thinking matte black for pony, retro bronco emblem in matteto replaceSas sticker and then rings in matte black. Actually convinced myself to DIY plastidip matte, but now a neighbor is saying don’t do it in MN weather, it will peal for sure. I’m not sure if he’s just trying to get me going… ;)
None the less, anyone have thoughts on this, pics if you have done similar? I also keep going back and forth on matte, grill match or gloss on the rings. Gloss would match the wheel, matte to match the decals and grill to match the grill/mic…
Nothing special on the lugs. I just used my fordpass points to pay for them so I ordered the Ford lugs. Where did you order your black ford emblem from?

Nice, this will most likely be a day 1 change for me. The black beauty rings and lug nuts look so much better to me.

Most powder coating shops will do them for around $20/ring.
Much cheaper than buying new rings…

I did mine to match my Badlands grill. Changes the look of the truck completely…

Can you tell me the RAL # you used for the Carbonized Gray ?
I want to do the same to my SAS rings.
Thanks

Looks great! Did you have the bolts that hold on the beauty ring powder coated too? Or are they just a really dark gray? Thx

That looks really good. I was going to do mine in all black but now I'm thinking about copying yours.

That is the one thing I haven’t ordered yet, but might today. Cjpony has them but it’s satin which I think will be close enough and far enough from the other matte that it won’t be noticeable. May spray that if it looks bad.

I have a little advantage of being a manager at a dealership. I had my body shop paint my rings. I also replaced the lugs with the ford performance black lugs. I think it looks a lot better. Just waiting on my new boards and a few decals and I’ll be done with accessories for oh maybe a month. Lol

Black beauty rings looks way better. How much for those Ford black lugs? Any of them locking at all?

Ah I was trying to figure out how to do this exact thing! Looks great. My friend has a setup he used to plastidip the grille on his Jeep, any reason that would not work for the rings?

Looks nice. Looks like my build... Including the soft top, Unfortunately... Since i have your attention and you work at a dealer I opted to switch to a soft top to ensure my 2021 delivery. My Bronco rep at my dealer has not been very helpful. I have found out info and my updates from other sources before anything from her.
So. When and how can I order my hard top? She had said prolly 2023. I call B.S. there has to be a way to get one sooner. Looks like they have the supply issue handled.
Can you help a Bronco brother out...? Thx.
