off roadeo trip in TX. for Sept 24th

who else is going ?
just signed up for a ride along on Sept.24th /Friday for experience with the BRONCO .

any advice from someone who has been there done that , do they furnish lunch / snacks , And do they have a #1 & #2 breaks along the trails .
boots recommended or just sneakers. Sept. is still warm in Texas so shorts or jeans , ( six shooter or semi ) just kidding .
from what I understand its a 10 hour course ?
staying at the horseshoe bay resort for one night 23rd and going to the off roadeo on the morning of the 24th

They provide dinner the first day and lunch on the second day. In all you get about 6 hours of driving. It should be labeled one day instead of 1.5 days.

Wear pants and closed toe shoes! Yes its hot! but you do get out of the vehicle often and there are snakes around and bugs.

The first hour half is outside where they talk about the basics then they ask for volunteers to demo a few basic things after the chat. Then your off for about two hours of some off rode driving. Its very warm, you get a nice Bronco off rodeo branded Yeti tumbler. They have several stops with water to refill them. They also have Ice tea and snacks for your taking, power bars and other small items.

Second day few bigger rock climbing and hill climbing. The last part is when you finally hit the dirt track they have open but we only got to do 1!!! lap, i could have spent so much more time here. To finish it off they have everyone park and the pros take you on the off road track with the raise banks, lots of fun just wish i could have drove it.

Facility is really nice with some swag you can buy, shirts, hats, other items. This building is where you will eat as well.

Awesome , that helps a lot , did they teach about the switch back turn /how to use the steering to make it turn on a dime ? how to use all the goat modes

They dont focus on GOAT modes as much as hero switches. By the way, they have cliff bars you can grab anytime at the registration and water coolers everywhere so you will not need snacks or drinks.
