Older Bronco, who can identify?

First off. I dont know if this topic goes here or not. So MODS, feel free to delete. Now, my friend this morning went to go look at a house to buy. It just got sold. But in the backyard, he looks under a tarp. Finds this old Bronco. The realtor said he could have it for 6 grand. It needs work. Sorry for the crap pictures. Can you guys tell me anything about it, year or anything. Thank you.

Looks like it could be early 70s uncut

1966 to 1977 (hubs are 1968 or newer, but could have been changed). Rear fenders are uncut, good for collector, but limits tire size. Somewhat cancerous, almost unavoidable in early Broncos.

Yes it is a 66-77, can't see enough to know more. Rust looks pretty severe. Unless you are prepared to deal with the rust, I'd pass.

I think the early 60s had the rear fender swoop and after 69 they didn’t.

My best advise is to take the find at 6K and if it has significant rust try to flip it for 10k or more. I wouldn't even attempt a restoration or build on a rusted vehicle, but it's going to be worth more than 6k in this market I think.*

But look at the door lock, it's not a 66 or 67 the key lock on those years are higher to the door handle, unless the door has been changed out . So guessing 68.

Its a money pit anyway. The question is do you have 15k extra for restoration, or do you want a old bronco you can beat on and wheel after you get it running for 3k if you are lucky. Yeah it is a deal but at a cost unless you want to flip the project.
