My dealer said something very similar to me yesterday. They claimed that all they could order right now was 4-door 4-cyl soft-tops.

Yep. Looks like that includes tow package as well.

Interesting. Got my e-mail yesterday saying Ford received my order for a 2-door, MIC top and 2.7. All those things are on constraint so Ford may not be accepting more orders seeing they cant get the stuff to build those items now.

Perhaps to take into consideration is date of reservation? Maybe they are finally trying to catch up.

I can't imagine the total number of WildTraks that were reserved in 2020 - 2.7 and MIC were standard and next to nil have been built, as they were trying to focus on completing the First Editions.

Maybe. The delays I get. Wasn't expecting my order for at least a year anyway. But dealer saying that ordering those options isn't even possible is unexpected.

I ordered a Wildtrak with standard 2.7 and optioned MIC top just fine. Dealer is either ignorant or pulling a fast one to try to get a quicker sale.

Dealership was recently purchased so I'm guessing it's a sales push. The people there were previous Ford dealership people and I know they're familiar with the process. Disappointing, but I have a reservation with all those options in system already. ...enjoying the wait.

I am expecting 12+ months and that it likely will end up as a 2023. I certainly won't complain if it comes in early though.
