Outer Banks 3d printed Emblem?

My friend decided to make me some outer banks emblem with his 3d printer. Took him no time to make them once he saw the image online

Wish I would of put sasquatch on them. But no biggie. Can't wait to paint them.

What do you all think? Too Tacky?

Those are cool. I like the way it printed them. Do not smooth them out. You could use a color that makes it look like lumber that has been at the ocean for a long time.

Now you have me guessing about getting someone to paint them with a better image....My limits are stick figures and painting in the lines.

I've been looking for a reason to buy a 3d printer... hmmm.

Now you have me guessing about getting someone to paint them with a better image....My limits are stick figures and painting in the lines.

HAHA! just do the background in a nice grey, the wave in blue, and use a tiny brush with very little paint on it to do the white highlights. i am not much of a painter either. go to walmart and get some very small brushes and take your time. then you can clear spray the whole thing.
