Be warned, I wanted to go with K02's on my OBX, but they were back ordered until July. Now, I'm going with 35's, so maybe your size isn't victim to the problems with supply chain that started 15 months agoLooks great! I just got my cactus gray 4 door OBX yesterday! I am planning on upgrading to 275 70 18 BFG KO2 . I really like your wheels! What is the offset?
Good question I’m guessing so 275/70/18 doesn’t change anything. But a 8” -12 offset sounds about right compared to a 9” -12offset but I’m sure you can check on a wheel size web sight. Just plug in a 9” compared to a 8”.Ride looks awesome.
So, question: if it's a 9" wheel with -12 offset, will that poke 1/2" more than an 8" wheel with a -12 offset? (the extra inch of wheel giving the extra half inch of poke)
Haven’t installed it yet debating on the dealership doing it to keep all warranties intact $$$$$ I know they will gouge me but a alignment is also required after any level or lift. How easy is it to install RC level kit? On a scale of 1-10 I have about a 4 mechanical aptitude when it comes to cars
You’re good with 275/70/18 on the OBX wheels with no lift and crash bars in tact. I went with BFG KO2s. Had it done last week before I took delivery. What a difference compared to the stock tires.Good question I’m guessing so 275/70/18 doesn’t change anything. I installed a leveling kit on my Ranger and I think it is similar. I would just pay. I spent 12 hours over 2 days for a 4 hour install. The CV axle gets extended to get the strut out and put back in with the spacer and if you are not careful you can do some serious damage to it. When you take it to get it aligned the local shops will charge more since it is no longer stock and they have to spend more time aligning it. I was charged 170 instead of 89. So if you can get a good out the door deal on the complete install I'd say do it.Haven’t installed it yet debating on the dealership doing it to keep all warranties intact $$$$$ I know they will gouge me but a alignment is also required after any level or lift.
Yes will work with stock wheels. -12 offset removing crash bars is required if you don’t have a lift or levelYou’re good with 275/70/18 on the OBX wheels with no lift and crash bars in tact.
