Over 2 month wait for recall service appointment. Is that normal?

Just called to schedule an appointment to have 2 recalls looked at for my 2022 4 door badlands 2.7 Sasquatch.
Windshield adhesive and rear child door locks issues.
They told me their first available appointment was October 18th?

That seems a little crazy to be that far out.
Is that normal?
What have others experienced?

100% normal. Lack of parts, lack of manpower all snowballs into long wait times for everything and everyone sadly.

Normal for all automakers now. I had an Aux battery die on the jeep and it took 7 weeks to get it (it was under warranty). I even tried random parts stores and they said the same thing. If the part is in demand- prepare for a wait.

For those citing lack of parts. As the cause of the delay…
The first thing they did was put me on hold and check to see if any particular parts needed to be ordered prior to making my appointment.
They said no parts needed to be ordered for these recalls, they have what is needed to address them.
Then told me their first available appointment was October 18.

so this has nothing to do with parts/part availability.
