Let folks get what they want....appetites are always large. Interesting as time goes on, I keep dropping back on the list of must's.
Yeah, I rolled back from a mid range Badlands to a BaseManSquatch, now thinking of dropping Manual to see the damn thing sooner.
I love the cheaper price tag too, the simplicity...

I still can’t figure out if Sasquatch has a lift or not. The B&P tool doesn’t show a lifted vehicle when you select the option and the Ford website says nothing about a lift.

Anyone know?

You get 3.2" of ground clearance going to the Squatch. Some from tires, some from bump stops, and reportedly some from longer shocks. Technically the suspension on the Badlands, Wildtrak, and FE is a Lift from the base through OB. If it doesn't seem high enough for you there will be many aftermarket lift kits to take you higher.

Do people still go to the mall?? Mine will Be used in the dunes of Florida and it’s beaches. Was going to get an OBX but it’s cheaper for me to build a BL with the same stuff and come out a grand less. Seriously play with every model you
might be surprised of the savings on a more expensive trim.

Also, this forum represent a very small percentage of future Bronco owners. I can certainly see many forum member using more of the Bronco's capability than the average buyer.

It is also always better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

Having said all that, I'm poor and stingy, so I'm just buying Big Bend with rear locker.
So you’re ok with lower ground clearance, smaller tires, driving in two wheel drive generally, and having to switch in 4x4 manually ? Not trying to stir the pot, just working similar decisions through in my own head

Actually it was a H3 Hummer Adventure.... and there were plenty of what looked like soccer moms with kids in tow wheelin right paste me. Maybe they or you could could do it in the Sorrento... nope not me
My opinion was just that only an opinion and if you're reading into it "hutzpah to tell somebody else how to spend their money just because you can't afford their toys" your wrong on both accounts....
Takes a lot of hutzpah on your part to tell somebody they can or can't afford something....
By your responses can I assume you are an arrogant multi millionaire? more likely not.
might be hot trash your entitled to your opinion.

Again just lighten up or not your choice

I've returned to add this addendum....
I'm taking my own advice and lightening up...
Want to be civil with fellow Bronco folk no offense intended....
Resume civil discussion over Beers if we ever cross path on the tail...
But the thing is NOBODY asked for your opinion. Think what you want about our Badlands/Wildtrak purchases and we'll think what we want about your Base/Bug Bend.

I don't generally drink with douchenozzles. If you "share your opinion" on the trail the same as you do here I'd rather just keep on trucking and let you do you. But if you're a normal dude with a little bit of sense and HUMILITY? Sure, I'll drink your beer.

I keep reading this board everybody sounds like they need the squatch package and the larger engine. I would be willing to bet the majority of these vehicles will be mall crawlers rather than overlanders or rock crawlers.
Mall crawler you don't need much you only want to bedazzle it cause it looks cool
DD with occasional overlanding probable only need 33s and rear lockers at most
True off-roader rock crawler you will benefit from the works.
I know you...

Nope. From the announcement I knew what I wanted and had a rough idea on price. My B&P is at $42K which is about what I expected. The hardest thing is the wait.
What did u get and why

below is an image of the only car I need. But I plan on getting a $57k Wildtrak because I can and it’s badass. I will go on maybe two large scale vacations a year to use it for its potential with some mild beaching/trailing on some weekends. Haul some cargo and the family. But you know what, it’ll be fun and capable of doing anything I want or potentially want to do. Who gives a duck what you think or anyone else. Get what you want. Sounds like some people can’t afford it and want to kill others spirits of mall crawling and doing simple family things. Do you tell this shit to the $90k F-150/250s that are super clean, jacked up, and use it to go back and forth to work and soccer practice? GET WHAT YOU WANT

Sorry Buddy you are you taking an opinion way out of context....
Again no offense intended

I'm looking for a DD, but I'm out every weekend, back roads, mucky mud puddles.....hunting, fishing, bushcrafting, hiking etc. I want a nice looking capible truck but don't have deep pockets.
I've been doing some research, comparison and price comparison between the Bronco and Ranger.
Canadian prices, but still comparable on US dollars.
Base Bronco with Sasquatch....$52 200.
Ranger XL with FX4 package....$37 800.
A base Wrangler out performs a base Bronco, so that shows how anyone that's offroad at all needs Sasquatch. IMHO, a Ranger is more practical from the point of storage, payload, and towing.
I'm a Ford guy through & through, but I've stopped falling for the Bronco marketing that's gone on now for months.

Yah, I am planning to use the vehicle for family camping trips, sight seeing in some less traveled areas, and maybe one day as an overlander. I don't foresee myself ever rock crawling, or driving to areas where there is no "road". Selectable 4wd is most likely fine, and the rear locker is the "just in case" option for me.

My ambitions are likely very conservative compared to most, but with a wife that doesn't even want to go on camping trips at the moment, I really don't foresee myself going too far off the beaten path.

Because I want to. I worked my ass off to get to the point that I can buy what I want the way I want and don’t need you to understand or approve. I will park that $&@“+/ at the mall or on the mountain and be happy. That’s what my 5-10k will buy.
