Hi Friends - recently changed out my rear bumper, and am now receiving a park aid fault on the display behind the steering wheel and the error message attached. Any ideas and troubleshooting suggestions?

Did you hook the harness back up? Mine did that when I forgot to reconnect the harness on the 3rd time I took my bumper off.

I did. Seem to all be installed correctly.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Bronco concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

Have you tried to disconnect the battery to reset the whole system?

I have the same issue. The problem with mine is the oseal in the wiring harness is stretched out, so it's not letting it fully connect.

Have you figured out what caused this? Mine has started doing it since yesterday. Iā€™ve taken it to the car wash twice and disconnected the battery for a bit but itā€™s still happening. I still have stock bumpers so nothing has been messed with on that end.

Big DUH moment. Plugged the license plate plug into the sensor. Why would Ford make the light connection and sensor connection the same!?! šŸ˜‚. Resolved. Thanks for all the tips!

I just ran into this problem today. I put on a hitch receiver, now I noticed after clipping the two connections parking aid failure happens. Has anyone else had an issue like this? One thing I noticed is that the connectors don't snap back in. I've inspected the connectors. Can't see anything, but it is clear it's not fully seated

Iā€™m having the same issue. When I try to reconnect, they arenā€™t snapping back info place.

On a FB group, someone just suggested to spray a little WD-40 into the connector. He noted the seal may have got dry. I did it this morning and it worked.

Same issue, removed/reinstalled OEM bumper only to get the Parking Aid Fault signal... tried the WD40 suggestion and bingo, everything back to normal.
