Just put 255/80/17 on my stock Big Bend. Not quite the pizza cutter look I was hoping for. I think in 60K miles I’ll bump up to 255/85/17.

I'm having the same debate with my BB. Running 265/70 x 17. Want a little more height. I wish I could get 265/75.

I have the 255/85/17 which has a great ride and look , no mods , no lift , Mickey Thompson Baja boss , great tire / quiet ride / great in the mud, I believe a comparable size on a 16" wheel would be 255/90/16

Does the spare tire touch the brake light with this setup?

Just yesterday I went out and measured that on my BB, thinking of 255/80s or 85s next time. You confirm, looks close...maybe 80s
