POLL: Is Anyone's Spouse Buying Them A Bronco?

So I have this friend. His wife totally knows about the new Bronco and she thinks they're fantastic. She's also a hot little number, but don't tell him I said that.

This friend of mine made an off-hand comment about their 20th anniversary coming up soon, and cracks a joke about being loved enough to get an Anniversary Bronco. Since he doesn't hide things from his wife and they love each other she tells him, "Hey! I'll buy YOU a Bronco! Get the one you want, money is no object!"

So he did and they're happy. He's never going to hide his bronco in a parking lot somewhere away from home and he's totally going to take his wife on road trips in it.

Oh, and he posts in this forum and I might be him.

Lucky. My wife doesn't drove manuals. She said she's willing to learn... But I remember how that went in one of my old Rangers.

My wife is, by far, the bread winner of the house. So essentially she's buying it. We both worked hard and made huge concessions over the years to put her through med school and finish with zero debt. A new Bronco is sort of my "gift" for driving crappy vehicles and working hard just to keep them on the road over the years.

We are honest with what we buy. We give each other a hard time over some frivolous purchases every now and then but we're on the same page.

I couldn't imagine hiding a vehicle from her. That is pretty lame whatever the reason.

We both work and all money goes into the same account so I say we are splitting the cost. She will be more than welcome to drive it whenever she wants though I doubt she will.

Yep, wife heard me Hmm & Haw over the news, and lamenting of my old Bronco 2. So when she deployed, she took advantage of the overseas vehicle purchase program. Now we are in a lottery because their allocation is super limited. But it means at cost, no dealer mark up, and no delivery fee.
