Portable winch?

that's actually my initial plan, I really just want something that can get me off if high centered or pull me out of a hole I didn't see etc. Not something to pull me 20 feet up some steep incline I have no business being on. Some tow straps, tree saver so I can create an angle, couple soft shackles, haven't really planned it out yet, but that's what I'll do first before spending a ton on something I might never use.
Would be different if I lived near trails maybe, but I don't. Yet.

They totally work nothing wrong with using one if it gets you out of trouble especially if your by yourself. Just research which come along you buy so you get a quality one.

I was just looking at these lol thank you. The hidden mount from RC is looking appealing even tho I still will rarely use it. I have to see where I would put the cooler on my 2.7 if I decide to go that way. Portable stuff when looking at quality stuff is not really that much cheaper. But also a lot less to go wrong with a manual setup.

I like this a lot because it is cheaper than an electric winch and its easily transferable between cars. I also hope i dont need it.
