Ive noticed under the fender flares, while cleaning, that dirt and rocks love to live in that area. With the plastic flares not being the best of tolerances, the metal mating surface where the flares connect, are a breeding ground for future serious rusting, especially in the northern states with snow. What steps are others taking to slow the rusting process?

A rubber gasket would've been nice to keep junk from getting in there but the fenders/quarters are aluminum so no rust issues.

Good call - I would imagine one could install some PPF there to help.

Good point about the aluminum not rusting, Im and old school dude used to steel being used in fenders. I should have said abated to the point of dissolved state. The consistent nature of abrasive materials will have a negative impact on the fenders down the line, how long down the line until the flare fall off? Who knows, but i dont want to find out lol
