Aluminum painted on both sides from the coil supplier. Also has a protective film from the supplier.

No real point but a story about front plates, and placing them in alternative locations.

I did this in for 2 weeks in my current car, I didn't want to drill into the bumper on a new Mustang. That has always bugged me, buying a brand new car and proceeding to drill holes into the fiberglass/paint for a plate.

So like the hundreds of people I see everyday I put it in the passenger corner of my windshield. Within those two weeks I was stopped twice by DPS. First Trooper gave me a warning, but the second with straight face told me in a crash that plate could decapitate me.

So me being me, I replied that if I hit something hard enough a plate could take my head off I'd already be in serious trouble.

Anyways I paid the ticket and now have a front plate.

(I will be buying one of these after I get my Bronco.)

I know Michigan is a messed up state with a lot of things, but I'm so glad we don't have a front plate requirement... Whew, dodged that one.

Here in Georgia we don’t have the license plate requirement but I had to have a way to hang a Black G on the front of my Bronco. Looks like 4-5 weeks away from putting the horse in the barn.

In California you’re supposed to have the front plate, but I see cops every single day and we just wave at each other. No cop right now cares about a front plate.

After seeing the placement of the front license plate ford came up with I decided there had to be a better solution. Thanks to Tor148 and his new Bronco I have some prototype photos to show the forum. Also want to thank redone17 and Gangstead for helping in development.

This is a bolt on aluminum bracket for the MOD bumper using 3 existing bolts. The bracket can be mounted with the outside 2 bolts for quick removal. The plastic bumper will require drilling and additional fasteners. Meets all states requiring the plate be 14” from the ground.
