After seeing the placement of the front license plate ford came up with I decided there had to be a better solution. Thanks to Tor148 and his new Bronco I have some prototype photos to show the forum. Also want to thank redone17 and Gangstead for helping in development.

This is a bolt on aluminum bracket for the MOD bumper using 3 existing bolts. The bracket can be mounted with the outside 2 bolts for quick removal. The plastic bumper will require drilling and additional fasteners. Meets all states requiring the plate be 14” from the ground.

I went to do the same (almost). Plan was to mount to skid plate an use a standoff on the bottom to brind the plate bottom out, more flat. Didnt like the space behind the plate. So the plate now lays flat on the skid plate... I have 37" KO2s so you see a little bit more underneath. This works for me until I get stopped or the new bumper/skid plate comes in.

I’d ride with it that way if I lived in a state requiring front plates too. I had to have a place to mount my black G that’s completely visible.

I finally got to install a bracket on MY Bronco. Crazy how many of these things I’ve sold before I got to install one. Originally I thought up the bracket just so I could put a G on the front of my Bronco, no intention of making more than one. Thank all of you for your orders and kind words.

No choice in CA. My plan is to run with no plate until I get pulled over but want to have the bracket on hand when that happens.

Also they make adhesive plates that are CHP approved. You have to Google it. I’m just not sure there is a good place to stick it in the front

I bet that is easier to wash the bugs off of too. Not sure there is a place to do that on the bronco bumper.

I would imagine as long as the numbers and letters are facing forward and readable.. the rest of top and bottom of the plate wrap could be folded around the. Under????
